Not suitable for a cockatiel!, 10/31/2009

This cage is too big for a cockatiel. The bar spacing is NOT 5/8", it is 3/4". I even emailed before I purchased to confirm the bar spacing and was told it was 5/8". Not true. The quality is poor (China), and it was poorly packaged, with the box arriving so beat up that I can't return it in it. There were rust stains all over the cage, some of which won't wipe off. There are spaces in the cage bars large enough for only the largest birds to not get their heads stuck. This was a big mistake I'm stuck with because it's way too much hassle to return. Now I have to try to sell it.
