My Ferrets are CRAZY over these!, 3/21/2013

Barbosa-N-Jack from Eastern NC

My ferrets are VERY picky eaters, as are many ferrets. Aside from fresh bananas and Ferretone, there really aren't any treats out there they will eat. When I purchased these I poked a hole in one and hung it in the middle of their cage to see if they would play with it. I was doubled over in laughter when I saw one of the ferrets try to pull and yank it from the string to hide it. Once they figured out it wasn't going anywhere they ate it in no time. When I put the next one in their cage I didn't bother hanging it and they scarfed it down right away. My ferrets LOVE these and so do I. What I love most about them is that they keep my naughty ferret's energy concentrated on one thing instead of destroying everything or chewing on his water bowl!

So happy they only have chicken now!, 3/2/2013

Annik from Hazelton, PA

My ferrets were only eating the chicken flavor superchews (being carnivores, I think it's normal! lol). I'm really glad the pack of 3 is now chicken only ! My babies love them and it keeps them away from destructing non-edible toys

Bring back the multi-flavored pack..., 12/23/2012

EMalnburg III from Pioneer, CA

The Marshall Super Chew Edible Toy has really gone to poop when they changed the recipe for the Chicken and dropped the Raisin and Molasses flavors. My Ferret’s no longer want anything to do with the only chew toy that they enjoyed. :( Bring back the multi-flavored pack... (7 66501 00174 7)

Super Chews, 6/19/2011

Amber from WI

When we first got them, my ferrets did not know what to do with them. I had to teach them to chew on the treat. Once they got the idea, the treats last a week, if even. Great distraction to keep in the cage if they can not be let out for a few days.

Okay, 6/16/2011

Hayley from Andrews AFB, MD

I have two ferrets, my 2 year old male completely ignores these but my 6 month old female will chew on them every once in a while. I like the idea of having something in the cage for when I have to stay late at work and they get bored in their cage, but usually it's only the pointed tips that get chewed off before the thing gets dirty and has to be switched out so we're only really using a small portion of the overall treat. So, while I like the overall idea, I will probably try to find something else to occupy my wigglies.

Ferrets LOVE them , 5/27/2011

My old nemesis, STAIRS! from over the river and through the woods, KS

I only get these treats once in a while because the are pretty expensive and only come in a 3 pack. My ferrets love all of the flavors and were not hesitant to try them. One treat will last my 2 girls about 3 to 5 days. It entertains them for a while. They do get sticky so I only give them to my ferrets in their cage. Otherwise it would get in the carpet and stick the stuff. Overall it is a great treat!

My older ferrets loved it., 4/30/2011

Buddy from St. Louis, MO

I had four older ferrets and 2 of them loved this product. They would go absolutely crazy about it, but the other two older ones didn't care much for it, even if I put ferretone on it. My new little guy didn't care for it much either. One problem I had with this is that it would get stuck in their fur sometimes and would mat their fur up. Also had to make sure to wash the treats with water a little bit because fuzz would become attached to the sticky thing pretty easily.

A Fav!!, 1/29/2011

These are my Eden's favorite. They helped so much when she was really small; they took attention away from my toes! The Molasses ones are her favorite! My two play hide and seek with them!

Great ! Especially for kits, 1/9/2011

My ferrets love these treats, especially the chicken flavored one. It helped satisfied their need to chew when they were kits, but they still like SuperChews.

Great!, 12/20/2010

Hannah from

My Milo, (who is a kit) loves these! I got one free with the litter I bought, but I am planning on getting more. It will entertain him forever, and is good for training. The only con is that yes, it gets a bit sticky. Other then that LOVE IT. So does Milo! (if you cant get your fuzzie to eat it, try covering it with some ferretone or ferretvite.)

Great cage safe toys, 8/31/2010

Ferrets North from

For when the ferrets are locked up and nobody is home... I hang one of these above their hammocks for them when to play with... the treat gets chewed up, ripped down and eaten without concern of internal obstruction. They are excellent for kits or just to keep your pet entertained. They do get sticky when chewed, but are not too bad. Out of my 8, only 1 doesn't eat them, but even he will play with them when they are dangling in the cage.

No Thanks, 7/13/2010

Stacy Lynn from Lee, NH

Rarely do I see a ferret like these. Save your money for something else. And when you do get one that will chew on it the toy gets sticky and gets everything stuck to it and is soon nasty.

Got these for my kit, 3/23/2010

Christine from Virginia Beach, VA

I got these for my kit the day I brought her home because she was trying to chew on everything in the pet store. I thought these would be great but she won't touch them. I've tried different ways to get her to take them and she won't. My big boy didn't like them either. I'm still going to try but so far, no luck. The price on this site is great though. They cost me $8.50 at the pet store.

Fuzzbutts Say "Yum!!!", 11/26/2009

Ginnaphyr from Rhode Island

I have 7 fuzzbutts, and ALL of them LOOOOOVE these treats! I have to buy them in bulk, and this site has the best price around--not to mention the best customer service and fastest shipping. The fuzzies beg for these, and I've used them to help littertrain my newest DEW. I also give these out to help occupy the ferts when I need some peace and ferret-free time--dooks all around!

Love Them, 7/28/2009

Val from Rochester, NY

My ferrets love them. I have to keep ordering tons of them because they eat them so fast. I just have to cut them into fours because one of my ferrets will chew on it til he eats it all and gets all sticky from it. Not all ferrets like them but mine love them to death, give it a try I would because they keep them occupied for a long time if they do.

Great for a short time., 4/2/2009

Josh from Rochester NY

I got these thinking it would take my ferret away from chewing on the soles of my shoes, and it did for about an hour. He liked it at first then didn't touch it after about a day they got really hard and he didn't want anything else to do with it. It was like that for all three flavors but it wasn't until the last one that I decided to try putting it in hot water for about 5 minutes and pull it out, he went after it again for about an hour and then wanted nothing else to do with it. Hope your ferrets enjoy these more than mine did!

Never touched, 1/3/2009

Ken from Charleston, SC

I bought these for my boy Buddie and he could care less for them, even after I put some FerreTone on it. He just licked it off and went on his way. After getting my newest fuzzy Molly, I thought that maybe she would go for it because she loves toys of all types. Nope no luck. They won't break the bank if their not liked but all in all I wouldn't recommend them.

Spanky and chloe go CRAZY for these., 12/28/2008

Emily from New York

My two ferrets, Spanky and Chloe go CRAZY for these things. At first i gave them one each, but Chloe quickly abandoned hers to go and try to steal spanky's. She's such a little brat! One day I had made the mistake of leaving a new packet on top of the cage, and they had ended up dragging it into their cage and ripping it open. So beside the minor vet visit Spanky needed cause he injested some of the plastic, My ferrets could not be happier with these toys!

Very Suprised, 5/18/2008

Malina from Pittsburgh

I'm usually a very skeptical person when it comes to products claiming that animals go nuts over this or that; but with this product I can totally believe what they say...I bought this product and brought it home to Okie.. At first he wanted nothing to do with it, but once I dipped a corner in his wet food, he completely went crazy about it. Now I don't need to get the taste of food on it and can give it directly to him. He absolutely loves it and has such a ball when I tie it to his cage with a string. One thing I don't like is the flat shape, which makes it hard for him to chew on when it's on the ground. Another thing is that it does get very sticky and leaves the residue over his paws and wiskers, but that's nothing a warm wash-cloth can't take care of. I'd definately buy this again!

My ferrets love these!, 4/15/2008

Keri from Southern, GA

Both of my female ferrets love these treats... We wet them slightly and they were hooked. My only complaint is that my ferrets enjoy them so much if we don't limit their time with them they will have sticky mustaches from chewing on these treats so much.

Wow, 7/26/2007

Ben Ford from IA

Ok I am new to the ferret world but I picked up some of these and my little girl loves them. The string Idea is great. The only thing I noticed is the hole is to close to the edge. But a simple punch in the middle and my girl cant break it off the string. This is by far her favorite toy.
