Well designed cage, cheap casters but overall a good product, 7/4/2013

I bought this to replace an older model of the exact same design so my Grey would not have to adjust to a new cage. It was designed by someone who actually owned birds. The food dishes can't be dumped. The doors can't be opened from the inside. The paper can't be reached by looooooooong legs to pull inside and make a mess. The one improvement would be solid casters instead of the flimsy plastic ones it came with. We immediately replaced them because of how easily they broke on the old cage. One thing I can't tell is if this newer model has an undercoat to slow the rusting process. The older one didn't, so frequent washing rusted the pan first and then some of the dings on the powder-coated wire.
